Everything on this list will be strictly opt-in. *Cookies placed by third party advertisers - like most web sites that use advertising, third party cookies may be installed on your browser that keep non-personally identifiable information about you for advertising purposes.

Data Retained by Nerdtopia

Nerdtopia collects data including but not limited to author information (As filled out in the relevant forms), IP Address, browser type and referrer. Because data is retained, users under the age of 13 are ileligable to use this site and Nerdtopia will take all reasonable steps to remove any of this type of information that has been inadvertantly collected.

Authors and uploaded material

Before uploading material authors should acknowledge:

1) I am the owner/copyright holder of this content. I understand that if I violate this policy my IP Address and other information my be turned over to the authorities." Also, this material is not a derivitive work (aka. Fan fiction) of someone else's copyright.

2) This content will (to the best of my knowlege) be placed in the proper age and category.

3)The information contained in this content in no way is harmful, i.e. it does not contain libel/inflammatory/racist or other or information that can be used to harm others such as bomb-making/hacking or other malicious material. This also includes, but is not limited to spreading viruses, child pornography or other illicit material.

4) I agree and understand that by submitting this material that the owners of the website have the right to refuse/take down this content for any reason that is deemed acceptable by the site's owners.

55) A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for which your adress is located if you reside in the United States of America or to the Jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for which Nerdtopia is located if your address is outside of the United States.
